As we arrived, we were greeted by a security guard. There we waited to be seated, as no one acknowledged our presence; we found our own table. On the table were two menus; about 7 minutes later a server came over and gave us a third menu. A server came by 5 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order; we made our choice. I asked for the steak with fries. I was told that it was not possible as it only comes with mashed potatoes. You can order fries on the side and not have the mashed potatoes. The place was very busy. The female servers wore splatter guards but no hair nets. As we waited for our food (which was a long time) I noticed that the male servers did not wear splatter guards or hair nets. The female servers were serving food on trays, but the male servers were delivering food by hand and clearing tables by hand. Very inconsistent food handling practices. Also, noted that there was no hand washing station for the servers. My salad arrived 10 minutes before the steak and my first course of soup. When the steak arrived, it was the only thing on the plate. I was asked and requested medium, it was well done. No complaints about the soup. The main course was over cooked (steak) the fries arrived and I asked for ketchup; I was told that it was extra cost. I returned the steak as I could not eat it; I complained to the lady that appeared to be in charge, who did not seem bothered. At this point the bill was placed on the table. I asked the server, “Why are you giving us the bill, we have not finished our meal?” I received no answer. Again, I spoke to the lady who appeared to be the supervisor, “Are you going to replace the steak?” I was told ‘no’, the bill on the table included the price for the steak. The service was poor, the response to our needs was poor, putting the bill on the table before we had finished told me that they wanted us out of there. When we arrived to the restaurant, the restaurant looked good and gave us a good impression but when we made the order, it took a long time probably because it's supposed to be fresh. The food was amazingly delicious. It was really good. The meat was quite tender, however. The bread for the panecook was Not good and not chewable either, so it was a waste of money, but the taste of the meat made up for it , it was very yummy, the hamburger was also very good, we did order a chocolate volcano dessert but the waiter forgot and we had to order it again, the taste was to die for, so I do recommend the place, just pay attention when you are going to pay as they charge you for their tip without asking you if you want to include it or not, which is dishonest. But they do offer a very interesting menu of delicious and mostly well done dishes, pastries, ice...

Food is great, also keep in mind, there's no AC on the big room, so when the humidity is high, you're gonna be sweating, there's some form of AC RIGHT NEXT TO THE BATHROOMS. We've been to this place for many years, so we notice when they change something on the menu, the Chicken bolovan has been reduced in size but the price is augmented. The menu they give you has the lunch items, the other day, it was like 6 pm I ordered some eggs and ham but the server told me they wouldn't do it cause it was a lunch item so I order the eggs and ham sandwich and there was no problem ordering that, it makes no sense to me why would she say no to eggs and ham but yes to eggs and ham on toasted bread lol. the Toeastes bread with chicken Lucerna it's pretty much bolovan on a smaller scale,...
