I’ve been coming here as I pass through Bogota for the past 8 years and have always had a pleasant experience. Which is why I return. Today the Bartender/server was very personable, chatting to me the duration of my visit. I asked for a (1) glass of red wine to accompany my steak. I got the bill and the glass was nearly USD $30.00. Much more than my full steak meal. I told her I felt she took advantage of a tourist passing through and her hospitality was insincere. Her friendliness disappeared as she explained ‘that’s what it costs, senora’. I told her I didn’t appreciate her casually selling me a $30.00 glass of when all I asked for was a glass of red and that I’d learned a lesson. This was all after how she bragged about Colombian hospitality (which I have absolutely enjoyed over many years!) and how much she loves her job. I felt taken advantage of and will not return as I travel through Bogota. So much for being a...

Don’t eat here. Go anywhere else, really. I got the beans, and almost instantly regretted it. Bland taste. Arepas tasted like vinegar. The white rice was hard. Chicharrones mostly fat. Limonada was great! I’ve been to Colombia 5x and this was a disappointing meal for something I thought would be typical. I texted a friend the pictures and he said “tiene pinta de aeropuerto.” And I agree. Service was good. Except when the guy in the kitchen came out with a rolling cart of food and hit me in the elbow (twice within 5 minutes). 92.000 pesos / $22 for 1 meal including 13% tax and 7k required tip. Did not ask “deseas agregar la propina” like it used to be. Music was too loud....

This place is horrible. There is not flexibility with the menu and having to alter selections. The chicharrón had not taste at all , and was almost raw. I am leaving this review so you take note and to make sure of a changes , most of your customers are people that travel, and have seen much better service and food For less price. We had to return the chicharrón and they literately took the plate and re cooked what was left raw and brought it back!! You never take a plate back to the kitchen that has been touched by the customers. Horrible, horrible manipulation of food , and you wonder how people get food poison. Will never eat here...

If you don't want to leave Colombia with a bad taste in your mouth, please avoid this place. The food is extremely overpriced and not tasty at all. The signature meat dish came with a side that was so horrible we thought it might be expired; however, it turned out to just be a really bad dish with a terrible combination of ingredients. They brought the side dish again, and it was just as bad. My partner ordered chicken, and it was the saddest, most unappetizing fried chicken I've ever seen. It's a shame that Carlos Vives' name is associated with this restaurant. It's just overpriced nonsense at the airport. Avoid it and go to any other place.

Food was delicious. The prices are ok. It’s a typical restaurant at an international airport. The environment was nice. The staff was friendly. I ate the little burgers with fries and some special sauce that they make. It’s was really good. You have a great window view of the street avenues. It’s a long walk to get to the dining area. You can get a small 2-3 person shuttle that takes you to the dining place for a tip. You must try the lemonade with mint leaves drink. Super delicious and refreshing.
