I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Padilla del Sabor in Cartagena, and David made the experience unforgettable! His exceptional service, warm personality, and genuine care for the guests truly set him apart.

David went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, from his menu recommendations to his attentiveness throughout the meal. His deep knowledge of the dishes and passion for sharing the flavors of Colombia added an extra layer of authenticity to the experience.

I cannot recommend this local neighborhood restaurant more highly. Just the atmosphere itself is reason to go there. There is no phoniness or pretension here, just really good, well priced food in generous portions. We had an entree of chicharrón, followed by mains of massive bacon-wrapped shrimp and a 2 inch (at least) tomahawk steak. We also ordered two glasses of the house wine. The total (with tip) was about 250,000 COP (approx. $80-$85 CDN). The atmosphere is very lively, as the restaurant seems to be a local favorite. Our waitress Lisseth was very friendly and quite patient with my attempts to pass all our orders in my less-than-perfect Spanish, without the use of Google translate.
