I’ll start with the fact that the meat had the texture and flavor of a shoe sole + the service was super rude and disrespectful, for whoever doesn’t want to read my full review. So, I ordered the Lomo A La Pobre after asking what comes in the plate. I was told that meat, a salad, seasoned rice with an egg on the top and fries. When I got the plate, other than the meat looking really dry, it looked great. I tasted the rice, tasted really good, but then I noticed it had different types of meat mixed in it. I don’t eat pork for religious reasons, so I asked if there was any pork in it. The reply was “I thought you knew the rice has pork in it (why would I know??), it’s just a little, you can take it out”. When I explained that I couldn’t eat the rice because it was mixed with the rice and my religion does not permit me to eat pork, the girl was clueless about what to do. Eventually, when she understood I won’t pick out the pork and eat the rice, she offered to bring white rice instead, which I didn’t want. I asked for the seasoned rice with the other meats and spices, just without the pork. She said she would prepare it. I was happy for maybe 10 minutes (although I tried the meat that had the texture and taste of a show sole). When she brought my rice out, it was just white rice that she poured tons of soy sauce on to make it look brown. Of course it tasted horrible. It was waaayyyy too salty, and had no flavor other than the soy. At the end, when I was about to leave, the girl noticed I didn’t eat and asked why, when I explained about the rice being just white rice with soy rather than seasoned like the original one, she started arguing and saying that I was basically asking her for another plate of food for the same price 🤯. I left without eating anything but the tiny salad and some fries, and with 17000 less in my purse. Definitely the worst Peruvian food and service experience...
Read moreThis place has been recommended to me but it was a disappointment.
The waitress had clearly no interest in her work or in telling me what any of the foods were. I have no idea about Peruvian food...
I eventually picked something from the "house recommends" list which had nothing Peru-specific. It was chicken nuggets with French fries. It wasn't even tasty.
At least the price was moderate but the 10mil daily menus I find much more worth...
Read moreRestaurant with a lot of option in the menu, either fish and ceviche for speciality.
The pork was not so good so I would recommend the chicken (with cream sauce and mushroom).
It is a bit pricey so make sure you have a little budget to spend.
