Carantanta Popayán: A Mixed First Impression My recent visit to Carantanta in Popayán left me with mixed feelings. While the ambiance of the place is undoubtedly lovely and inviting, I found the overall experience to be quite expensive for what was offered. The dish I selected, unfortunately, was just so-so in terms of taste and quality. It didn't particularly impress or stand out. Despite the underwhelming food and high price point for this initial experience, the appealing setting makes me wonder if my visit was just a fluke. Perhaps it deserves a second chance to truly showcase its culinary potential.

This place was really fun. They have big screen TVs where we watched the soccer game. The food was very good and even during the World Cup game the servers were you able to keep up with keeping the customers happy. Clean place, and open air atmosphere, great menu selections and "buen precios"... Two levels of seating make it very spacious and...

So the place is great, it is well decorated and the furnitures are well designed and comfortable.

Unfortunately we took two burgers and even if the first bite was promising the rest has been unpleasant, it was due to the meat that was simply out, not good.
