📝 Yet another culinary disappointment in the island of San Andrés. Service almost non-existent, nobody looks at you when you show up, smiles seem too much to ask. The island undoubtedly has a scarcity of people with good service experience. Too expensive for what you get in return.
🍴 Food chapter: once again a bad experience. Fried calamari rings were tasteless and with gum-like texture. The main dish was "pulpo Providencia", it sounded local and fresh enough... but again: super chewy and drowned in a sea of oil with some tasteless veggies. The side rice was also tasteless. You'd expect more from seafood plates in the Caribbean sea.
📍 There isn't much to comment on the location since the town is very small, so the restaurant is close to anything. The dinner was accompanied by some live music, the only positive aspect I can find.
☝🏼 No wifi available as of May 2023. This seems the norm almost everywhere...
Read moreWorse place ever !! Went there with my friends for our last night in san andres first we were 6 people we order drinks and appetizers and main course. For the drinks they took 35 min to bring them to the table 45 min for the 1fts appetizer and the main course never got to the table even when there were 4 more new tables that came after us and they got serve first than us. It got to the point after 1 hour and 20 min that we have to just stand up and pay just our drinks and appetizer and leave because our food never came. We were asking to the manager of the place and he keeps ignoring us same with the waitresses there. They didn’t even apologize for it when we paid!! Worse place in such a...
Read moreUnfortunately I had to give 1 star and I felt I was robbed by the restaurant staff!
The waitress got 10% tip without asking me if I wanted to tip her, I found that out later when I was checking the receipt, which was dishonest and unprofessional.
There, on the receipt, it shows that it's not a mandatory thing, just optional.
Why are they adding that option on the receipt if the waitress it's already paid by the restaurant? The service is part of her job! The restaurant must pay for her service, not me!!
Advice: Always check your receipt before paying if you are thinking about eating in...
