Our dining experience at Anders Restaurant in Costa Rica was spectacular. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We started with margaritas and mojitos—the ideal balance of refreshing citrus and sweetness. The bar knows its craft, and each sip was an indulgence in itself. The ceviche was fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavors that showcased the ocean’s bounty, while the calamari was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

And then came the star of the show: the tomahawk steak. Wow! Cooked to perfection, this steak was juicy, flavorful, and a feast for the senses. Paired with their outstanding sides and accompaniments, it was an unforgettable meal.

We went for an early dinner so it was fairly empty when we arrived. Our waiter was very attentive and made great food and drink recommendations, answering any questions we had about the menu. All together, we had a tomahawk steak, salmon, mahi mahi, ceviche, and some fresh fruit daiquiris and juices. The ceviche was AMAZING! It was so fresh and had a good assortment of fish and shrimp. One serving was plenty for our group of five to share before the entrees came out. The salmon with lemon and capers and mahimahi in red curry sauce was tasty and beautifully plated. The tomahawk steak was seasoned well. We asked for it medium, but I would say it was more medium rare which we were okay with. With the open air/ room layout, a cool giant insect flew behind the bar towards the end of our meal, which was promptly removed.
