We had a perfect room. Our room over looked the ocean(if you are a light sleeper this may not be the room for you). We had a 2 bed room, one queen and one a twin, which was great from me and grandpa. The restaurant doesn't open until later, so you'll have to walk a block for your morning coffee. I called and made a reservation early for 3(because my grandma was supposed to come to, but got sick and couldn't make it). Spoke to a lady who I spanglished the heck out of making a reservation, but then Ricky came on the phone and sealed the deal. I told then we were going to be late because we were taking the bus from the other side of the country and it would take all day. We were later than expected, so it was about 8pm when we arrived. There was no one here😒, but we were about to go eat dinner at the restaurant across the street (where I used their phone to call the hotel) when someone showed up and let us in. So it all worked out! I stayed 2 nights and it came out to about $100 (october 16th to the 18th) I think during busy season this place will be full and a little more pricey. We took a guided tour snorkeling ($25 per person) and we walked the forest on our own. Also I took some pictures of other rooms as well for your...
Read moreRexommendable hotel. Stayed for 2 nights. Close to the beach, you can hear the waves and wake up to the sunrise and have a beer at the balcony in the evening enjoying the moonrise. We stayed at the room next to the parking lot so we had front to the water. The toilet didn't flush well so you'd have to use a nearby restaurant (not the one at the hotel). Since the restaurant open at 10-11 you'll have to enjoy your morning coffee at Kawe which is very close - and it's not a big deal. There is no reception and the staff doesn't show up before 10-11 and they don't have much of a clue about what's going on so you'll have to speak with the owners them self. We spoke to Billy? Who seemed nice and the messaging on what's app was swift and easy. Room is clean and spaceous and has a fridge and AC. Note:this is not a review of the restaurant which I would...
Read moreI have never written a bad review, but I had such an awful experience here, worst in my life for now, that I have to write a review. I don't know about the hotel, but I was at the restaurant and ate the woorst and the most expencive "lunch" in Costarica (maybe even in my life!). I had to almost beg for the waitres to order, the she brought the menus and left for some time, then I saw another waitress and went after her to order drink and "lunch". I was really hungry so I decided for big lunch: enchilladas ( with chicken, cheese, vegetables, avocado and gallo pinto) for 4500 colones. After a looooong timee, I got tortillas with chicken swimming in a very hot red souce (from the bottle)cheese spread over it and a small cup of tomatoes. And that was it!!! I was also observing how was with the other costumers and it was the same! The woorst...
