They told us they serve tilapia for fish casado, which was a little disappointing as tilapia is, if I am not mistaken, freshwater fish and we got tilapia in all other restaurants in CR except for Uvita and Bahia Drake, facing the Pacific Ocean. It would have been nice if they served local fish as we are by the sea. The price for fish casado was 6,000 colones plus service, and in my view frozen tilapia fillet does not justify this price. Besides we have eaten enough tilapia for the last three weeks, and in many landlocked countries we used to live, so we went for pork/beef. We enjoyed our meat casados. We read positive reviews about ceviche, but we had quality ceviches in other parts of the country at lower prices, so we weren't tempted with those prices. The ham and cheese omelette was generously sized and delicious and the first time in Central America after being here a month that an omelette was done to way exceed my expectations. The side of bacon came as ordered, crispy.
