We ate at Soda Tita Rosa 3 times in 3 days during our visit to La Fortuna because it was that good! The women who run this little place were all so welcoming and friendly and, like other reviewers have said, will make you the perfect item off-menu if you ask (a cheese & bean empanada for my wife when she asked for vegetarian recommendations). Read moreWe are visiting from Roatan, and found the perfect Soda! Rosa and her daughters make the most delicious food. We ate here every day we were in town. Each dish was fantastic. One of my favorite days was when Rosa was singing to herself while making my food. In addition to the wonderful food she has a great view of the volcano, and her prices are very good. We found it as we drove by and saw many locals eating there. She truly loves serving her community her delicious food. She is a blessing to the community.

Read moreThe best food in La Fortuna, hands down. We came here 2 days in a row and wish we had found out about it sooner. The family who runs it is super kind and welcoming and WOW is their food delicious. Huge, tasty, good priced portions. Don’t miss out on the jugos naturales, either! Tried soursop for the first time and it was so so tasty. They also have a little heladeria attached to it (we may have dabbled in a banana split for good measure after dinner). Go here and you will not be disappointed! (Also, tons of birds in the area and we saw 4 yellow-throated toucans as a bonus...
