Restaurante Congo — Restaurant in Quepos

I found the perfect trio of terrible in this restaurant!

Food was terrible, service was extremely slow and food was needlessly pricey and just not worth what you pay for.

We ordered lunch and waited for over 45 mins! Meanwhile the kitchen was preparing the food for a reservation group that was not even in the restaurant yet!

Once the food arrived, it tasted terrible. The burger was ridiculously oversized and completely underwhelming. The pasta had literally no condiments or flavor to speak of.

To sum it up in one word- HORRIBLE. I don’t understand how the food is made so poorly. Made the mistake of eating lunch here since we are staying at the hotel. Both me and my boyfriend’s dishes were just awful and extremely expensive. We got nachos as a snack the next day and they were hands down the worst I’ve ever had. Just dry chips and for some reason a heap of lettuce and nothing else. How do you mess up nachos? And they were $13 USD...do not eat...

We stayed at this hotel and had diner here. They appeared to have adequate vegetarian choices. We ordered lettuce wraps and Vege Burrito. Warps turned out to be tasteless lettuce wrapped in rice paper. No dressing or flavor. For condiment we were given mayonese when we had specifically told them about our egg allergy.
