Restaurante Manuel Antonio — Restaurant in Quepos

we went to this restaurant solely because we parked there and they had a "buy something at the restaurant and parking is free" deal. we were not expecting much but the food was shockingly delicious. i got the chicken in tomato sauce casado, and my friend got shrimp w rice. we also got smoothies. we were shocked that it was one of our best meals in costa rica (and best meal in manuel antonio which tbh i found rather touristy and lacking in good restaurants).

I visited the restaurant today for lunch with my wife, daughter and daughter’s family of husband and 4 kids (1 to 12 yrs). Service was excellent, everyone had something they liked, and we all enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the casado with fish, arroz con pollo, and a few cheeseburgers. All were excellent. One lost star on ambiance because of an idling diesel delivery truck 15 feet...

We parked here in order to enter the national park; and stopped in for food/drinks after our long day. The server was remarkably sweet, and we had the best ceviche! The older man that served us was truly happy to help us park, and felt so genuine compared to the hill full of swindlers we had to get past. The was a great, truly local experience in a town...
