Always come here for the best meat in Costa. We have been here in CR 20 years and when we found this steakhouse we actually have never ordered a steak anywhere else. The flavor is unmatched and the wine pairings make this a big winner. We have had many cuts to test but if you have two people the tomahawk is just untouchable medium rare with a number of wine options. Malbec or Merlot makes a wonderful pairing or for some deeper pockets a rare off menu bottle may exist. The service and ambiance of this management group... and a nice chair make this our only choice in this area for a steak of American quality that rivals most high end Del Friscos in USA. Le Chandelier is a pretty upscale restaurant, and when we hosted a private event there about a year ago, the food and service were incredible. However, they have since changed their menu and downsized it quite a good bit, so they have very little in terms of variety on the menu. There are hardly any vegetarian options and no chicken dishes on the menu at all. Plus the prices are extremely expensive. We were so looking forward to trying their regular menu and were so disappointed to learn that there were very few options for us to choose from. Primeramente debo decir que ha sido una de mis peores experiencias. Iniciando porque solamente se podía comer la cena de fin de año la cual no era de nuestro agrado. Cuando por fin decidimos porque no había otra opción comer lo que nos obligaron a comer, le indicamos al salonero que nos cambie las tres entradas por una sola, que fuese una ensalada y una crema de pejibaye. Posterior a esto llegó otro salonero con las entradas que decía el menú y que no queríamos, cuando quise explicarle que con el primer salonero acordamos otra cosa, el no me dejó hablar y dijo que teníamos que comer de todo porque incluía todo. Mi hija obvio no lo tocó porque ella no quería eso. Pedimos una sangría blanca y nos trajeron tinta, cuando les dijimos que era blanca, nos trajeron una sangría blanca con maracuyá y mi hija no come maracuyá. Al rato de verla en la mesa, le pido a la camarera que la retire porque a mi hija no le gusta el maracuyá y al rato llega otro salonero con otra sangría hecha sin maracuyá. Que amable pensé, están reponiendo la que no nos tomamos. Pues en la factura nos cobraron dos sangrías incluyendo la que no pedimos.para cerrar con broche de oro, pagamos y nos levantamos para irnos, al llegar a las gradas vemos que nos persigue el primer salonero, un sr mayor, que fue el que propició todo el desastre, y nos dijo desde lejos: ustedes ya pagaron?
