Pizzería Il Pomodoro — Restaurant in San Pedro

Ate here a couple months back. Was sick for 3 days after. I had the Fruitti de Mar pizza. I had a total of two shrimp 3 clams....Was not expensive, but I suffered quite a bit. Great location in heart of San Pedro. Really wanted a good italian place, so i did not have to drive way accross town to Santa Ana. This is not it. You need an iron stomach lining to eat here. I really do not understand, because its always full. Must ne really great pasta. If they cannot make a decent Frutti de Mar, they should pull it...

Waiter had no concept of Covid precautions and tried to crowd me into an area between 2 full tables of people. He got upset when I asked to be seated in the nearly empty open air seating. He was also visibility annoyed with my slower Spanish. Another group of people came in and had to fight to be allowed to sit in the open air tables, and even then he tried to make them sit right next to me instead of one of the four appropriately spaced open tables. They also refused to be crowded. ...

Great service, conevinet location, private and street parking, and very good quality food. If you are in the mood for Italian, this is a good option for a full, satisfying meal. They have a wide lots of different pastas, pizzas, salads and special options for kids. The restaurant is spacious and they have a good bar with a variety of wines, beers and cocktails as well. Not sure how well you'd do of you're vegan though, they may have some options to work...
