Huateque Escazú — Restaurant in San Rafael

The idea of this place is good, the menu and prices are fair, they even have quality alcohol at a good price, it is their execution that fails, their staff lacks training on the food they serve or almost any service for that matter. Ingredients are there however it looks as of there is no Mexican cuisine knowledge inside the kitchen. Please please make some real taco sauce, I will be back in a few months to check it out, maybe they'll have worked out...

Overpriced, Made both people that ate get SICK poor quality meat, not authentic Mexican food at all. Order the most popular meal the 10,000 colones tacos(meat was tasteless). Also ordered every item ordered was tasteless. Stay away from the charro beans……it looks and tastes like it came out of CAN!…… and delivery was almost 2 hours LATE...

Es la primera vez que venimos y el local muy bonito y espacioso, mi pareja inicialmente quería el mole de olla que está en el menú, le dijeron que ya no lo trabajan, por lo que pidió un caldo de camarón grande y una orden de arroz. Luego viene la mesera y nos dice que no nos pueden hacer la orden de arroz que porque es muy poco, minutos después vuelve y nos dice que el caldo de camarón sólo lo pueden hacer pequeño porque no tienen suficientes ingredientes. Mi pareja terminó pidiendo un plato que según tenía aguacate, y se lo sirvieron sin el aguacate. Después, los tres colaboradores que estaban, se sentaron a comer juntos, una de ellas hasta se quitó los zapatos, cuando nos levantamos para ir a pagar, tuvimos que esperar porque todos estaban comiendo, y la que estaba sin zapatos, así se levantó a cobrarnos. Pedimos el baño y nos dijeron que debíamos usar el del centro comercial porque ellos no tienen ahí en el local, y esos baños estaban que daban asco, sucios y mal olientes. Esto un sábado a...
