We have been staying in Hermosa for the week and have tried all the places on the beach accept here. Saw the 4 star rating but for our last night decided to take a look at the reviews. They don't have many but they have two 1 star ratings from people that appear to have score to settle with the restaurant. So I'm posting on account to help off set the two idiots that did this. First off our experience was fantastic and loved the food. Friday night so we stopped in the afternoon and booked a 7pm reservation but when we arrived it was totally unnecessary as all the senior citizens that booked for 5 were gone. The calamari appetizer was a meal on its own. I had the yellow fin tuna and my wife had the beef tenderloin with 🍄 wine sauce. Both fantastic. We will eat here again.

We stayed at Hotel Velero for two nights and had several meals at the on-site restaurant, including lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Every meal was delicious, and the service was top notch—friendly, attentive, and professional. You truly can’t beat the atmosphere, especially with the stunning beachfront view. I highly recommend Hotel Velero and would absolutely stay here again!

we went on thursday so only tacos were available. Because it was Taco Thursday, they don't bother much) The staff is inattentive, mixed up the order, and in principle was in a hurry, so they didn't really listen. Live music is too loud, I would choose the sound of the ocean. The audience is American retirees, so don't expect much

Our server Adrian was sneaking drinks in the corner and hostile glaring at us when he’d walk past the table. We weren’t high maintence in any way. Ordered when asked, no complaints, not a bother for anything. The kicker though is we get the bill. 47,000 col. including tax and 10% service. I put my credit card in the bill fold and another server takes off with it. He returns with two tiny receipts I’m trying to read as is my son . The server returns to grab them from our hands! We both believe we saw 92,000 col had been charged to my card. Checking my bank info later confirmed we’d been ripped off. We were there in a BBQ night and the food was amazing but do not recommend. Eat next door at Roberto’’s. Great food...

We went here in the hopes and nice evening with live music, but our server "Adrian" was out of sorts. We received a rude reply for simple questions like which drink he would recommend and if we can get an extra taco. He got mad at us because he didn't know how much extra will be that. We were done with this poor service and his attitude and asked for the check on which he replied, "That is for the good." He literally snatched the bill out of my friend's hands when he asked for the machine. He said that I would pay for it. We had to ask the other server, who was very nice paid and left. He ruined nice night we were having on our last day, listening to...
