Cozy atmosphere and great cocktails, even though they were a bit overpriced considering the following. The service was very slow. They don’t have a proper menu or a QR code to scan, one of the waitresses gave us a phone to check out their cocktails but the menu didn’t have prices on it. They didn’t give us a receipt, they just handed us the credit card reader with the total on it, so we don’t know how much the cocktails were, if we had to pay for the service/tips and IVA. Zarpe is an experience. Have been there twice and both times it was amazing. The drinks are handcrafted and delicious. The ambiance is great for a romantic outing or just a fun hang out with friends. The cocktails are so good. Tell the bartender what you like in terms of flavours and they will recommend a drink that is best for you. They also use natural ingredients to hand craft each drink. They will use fresh limes, mint, and juices. No packaged stuff. Highly recommend this spot if you are in Playas del Coco, Guanacaste province...

The greeting and presentation were friendly and fun. Alexander is a pro. The experience is a unique one where he asked us to challenge him with the perfect cocktail by questioning our preferences; alcohol of preference, palate (sweet, spicy etc) and style.
