My husband and I spent one month in Tamarindo. We for sure tried food and drinks at every location in the area and Chiquitas was our favorite go to. Every day. Even if just for a night cap. It was by far our favorite spot. From the moment we arrived Ramiro the security guard welcomed us with open arms. The bartending staff were beyond friendly, super knowledgable and were excellent at working in a high volume, fast paced environment. The service was top notch. The drinks are creative and delicious. The kitchen staff was super duper friendly. The menu offers something for everyone and the food was delicious. Every night there's some form of live entertainment. From local DJs to Open Mic. Chiquitas hosted an after-party for me and over 70 guests after my wedding in Tamarindo. We had an amazing night thanks to the manager - Byron - who made sure all our guests were enjoying themselves.

Even though it was technically the "slow season" and Chiquitas wasn't expecting to have a DJ on this Sunday night, Byron was kind enough to ensure we had both live instrumentals and a DJ. We were able to get this arranged on short notice, too.

All it took was a very fair deposit which Chiquitas applied directly towards a bar tab for our guests. When we arrived after the wedding, the staff was welcoming and excited to host us, even having shots lined up for anyone coming thirsty.
