MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE !! If you read the previous reviews that mention rude, bad service, they are entirely true. Don’t go here. I made reservations for New Year’s Eve. Before my reservation I went to the restaurant on two separate occasions to check that everything was good with my reservation and because I like to plan ahead. The owner Gabriela told me they would have their regular menu plus some other speciality items. I thought the menu was fairly priced and since it was on the beach we decided to take our family of 5 to spend new years there. When we showed up the day of our reservation we were told there was only a fixed price 3 course menu for $90 per person. I was surprised by this as this was never told to me on the two occasions I went to visit the restaurant ahead of time. When I called the owner over to tell her I was surprised by this, she told me not to worry, that this was her mistake, and that she would just charge me as if I was ordering from the menu. When the bill came I was shocked when I was charged the $90 per person for our meals. When I approached the owner a second time about this, she told me that since I ordered an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert she would have to charge me the $90 per person. This was such A BAIT a SWITCH!! Our bill was $400 !! The owner wouldn’t even acknowledge what she previously told me. My wife was so surprised about how the owner was behaving. I sincerely despise people that are deceitful as I believe this is a bad business practice. To make things worse, The food was just mediocre. Not worth $400. Do you really need the money that bad ? Thanks for ending our new years dinner this way. Here’s a tip: focus on customer service and the money will come. In case you are wondering if I am exaggerating you can check out my other reviews. I am a top local guide, I own my own travel agency, and I rarely leave a bad review. This horrendous review is merited. Stay away...

From the moment we stepped onto the sandy path leading to the restaurant, we were enveloped in a sense of tranquility and warmth. The welcoming staff greeted us with genuine smiles, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.
The panoramic views of the azure ocean provided a breathtaking backdrop as we indulged in the culinary delights that Namu had to offer. Each dish was a masterpiece, crafted with care and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. The attention to detail in both the food and the service was truly commendable. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with expert recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience exceeded all expectations.
But it wasn't just the food that left a lasting impression; it was the overall ambiance of Namu that made our visit unforgettable. The gentle sea breeze, the sound of waves lapping against the shore, and the soft glow of lanterns casting a warm glow—all contributed to an atmosphere of pure bliss.

Read moreExcellent!! 5 stars!!
We had a party of 7 and set at the “main” table which is in the center of the dining space. It was a beautiful large wood table that I thought would be hard to eat around. Turns out, we needed all of that space to share all of the different food we tried!
We had the Wagyu sliders, the cheese board, the cured platter to start. All were absolutely amazing. The sliders were the best I have ever had. The cheese board had tons of options with delicious jam.
We also tried the burger, the fish of the day and the mushroom roll. None of them disappointed.
For dessert the Banana Split was to die for and the cheesecake was not overly sweet.
I would love to go back and try more things.
The food and the atmosphere were absolutely perfect.
I can be a bit “snobby” about where I eat and this place hit it out of the park.
Just to clarify, this is the wife posting the review under the husband’s account. Wouldn’t want my use of exclamation points to remove his “man card.” ...
