I recently visited an à la carte restaurant with high expectations, given the €23 price tag on what seemed to be a promising dish. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.
The chicken was rubbery and lacked flavor, making it difficult to enjoy. It felt as though it had been overcooked or not prepared with the care expected from a restaurant charging premium prices.
The salad bed was a major letdown, dominated by extremely bitter greens that overpowered any other flavors. Instead of a fresh, vibrant mix, it was an unpleasant contrast to the already disappointing chicken.
Moreover, the wrap itself was overly crispy, making it hard to chew and enjoy. It felt stale rather than freshly prepared, further diminishing the overall dining experience.
For €23, I expected a well-balanced, carefully crafted meal, but what I received was subpar and not worth the price. I would not recommend this dish, and I hope the restaurant takes note and improves both the quality of their ingredients and their...
Read moreWent to dinner at this restaurant with my family. The menu and price on google were completely misleading so our expectations were already not met. The food was quite pricey and small but definitely tasty. Almost the whole menu consist of seafood so not a very good place for small children or picky eaters. The service however was very good and the waitress had a great smile on her face all the time. We didn’t have to wait to get a table and a kind waiter showed us to our table right away. The wait for the food was a bit long but we were served bread while we waited. We also had to wait a long time for our bill. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was good, we got there during sunset and the views of the beach and mountains were breathtaking. The restaurant is pretty but I might get sick because the air conditioner was blasting cold air right above me. We could also smell smoke coming from outside. Overall it was a nice restaurant but it...
Read moreMy partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Marimare Restaurant during our stay at the Valamar President Hotel in Dubrovnik, and it was truly a memorable experience. After a warm welcome after checking in, we went down to eat at the Mariamare Restaurant, I opted for the tuna which was cooked to perfection, throughly enjoyable with a chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.
The Mariamare Restaurant is nestled on the beach on the beach level of the Valamar President Hotel, and is advertised a premium à la carte dining experience, which we can vouch for. The soothing sound of the waves and the gentle sea breeze made this meal even more enchanting so, whether you're a guest at the hotel or seeking a top-notch dining experience in Dubrovnik, Marimare Restaurant should be on your list. We would wholeheartedly recommend it for a delightful...
