Liberat — Restaurant in Jelsa

Special recommondation - this is first time that I have granterld special recommondation to anyone and I am giving it for "Fish plate for 2 person" at this restorant.. I urge anyone that is in Jelsa, Hvar to come to this modest looking restoran and order "Fish plate for 2 person" but bring at least 4 people with you since 2 person cant eat that much seafood (4 fish, clamps, prawns, calmari, etc.). This is one of the best fish plates I have ever had, and I have had a lot of fish plates!!! Fish is fresh, grilled till perfection and so delicious that your taste buds keep asking for more. I strongly recommend this place. Bare in mind, it dosent look great, it is simple and modest restoran but serves fresh and perfect grilled fish. Price is also very acceptable and that big plate gor just 320 HRK (42 EUR) is so crazy!!!!...

We had dinner at Liberat on the island of Hvar and really enjoyed it. The shrimps were super fresh, the risotto was creamy and full of flavor, and the mussels were delicious too. We also had chicken, tomato soup, and some great local wine. Everything was well cooked and nicely served. The seaside atmosphere was amazing, calm, relaxing, and with a beautiful view. Sitting by the water with good food and wine made the evening feel really special. Would definitely recommend this place if...

We visited Liberat twice. We usually never visit same restaurant twice on our trips but this time we did cause we loved it. We ordered grilled and fried squid on both of our visits and they were delicious. The big portions didn't leave us hungry. The service was very friendly. Nice, calm atmosphere and great sea views.
