Unfortunately the worst dinner experience in Mlini/Srebreno and we visited almost all of the well known restaurants during our stay. The restaurant was chosen based on good reviews online.

Everyone in the group chose different dishes and shockingly enough we were all dissatisfied. Side dishes came in completely cold and bland. Not even a bit of simple salt could be tasted. 6€ for three potato halves? Absolutely atrocious! More expensive and much less food than renowned restaurants in Dubrovnik old town is simply not acceptable.

Pork medallions were as dry as could be and the sauce that was supposed to accompany the meat could only be seen in traces.

The pasta with prawns was unbalanced - only tasting of thyme and full of shell and marine debris.

Still, nothing of the above would have made me write a negative review. We didn’t like the food, would have paid and moved on. What made the visit absolutely unpleasant and this review necessary was the reaction and response of the waitress. When asked what we thought about the food we only gave snippets of what we were dissatisfied with. But the waitress insisted that it’s the first time she has ever heard that someone had negative remarks about the food - that it has never ever happened before in the history of the restaurant. Well, it was the first time we had negative remarks about the food out of all the restaurants we ate at in Mlini and Srebreno. What should that tell you?

She questioned our taste and continued to insist that it’s rather something wrong with us and not the food. Well, we know a thing or two about food but should not be needing to state any culinary credentials to state that we did not like it because it lacked fundamental elements. Cold side dishes should be enough of a remark to simply accept the feedback and be ashamed. Not only did she not accept the feedback professionally nor tried to compensate the situation in any way (not that we expected it, we just wanted to pay and leave), she even had the audacity to ask for a tip, which unfortunately the one paying gave. Did I mention literally throwing sugar pouches across the table when serving our lemonades?

If you are still tempted to visit this restaurant, I would highly recommend you read the 1-3 star reviews and you will see that these contain similar complaints and that the responses of the restaurant are absolutely scandalous, unprofessional and unacceptable - mirroring exactly what we experienced during our visit. There are far better restaurants in the area with wonderful personnel, don’t bother...

Me and my partner have tried every restaurant in Mlini and this is by far our favourite. We even came back twice (5th and 11th of july)! The restaurant has an amazing view over the adriatic and has very nice and spatious seating outdoors and indoors. The menu has a good amount of variation with something for everyone. On the first day me and my partner tried the grilled fish and the shrimps in buzarra sauce. These dishes were 10/10. Both dishes were filled with flavour and are definetely worth the price.

The second day we both tried the daily special , which were lamb chops and while it still was a 8/10 you could tell that the chefs had a little less time to take such great care of their food, due to it being a busy night. The addition of live music made up for it however, which you can regularly find here.

We managed to try all the dessert options as well and they are all very tasty and worth trying out. If you're ever in the area, you should definetely...

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. From the exceptional service, to delicious local food, and superb deserts, everything about it is top notch.

We visited this place with a larger group twice in two days, and both times we asked the servers to feed us. And feed us they did. They have picked amazing dishes for us - all of which were amazing - and paired them with great wine, which made for an experience I’ll be looking to repeat whenever I’m in the area.

Some standouts for my personal taste were the octopus under the bell, grilled lamb, and grilled fish of all kinds. The octopus salad was one of the best I’ve had, and their cheesecake made in house makes me salivate just thinking about it.
