We had a great meal here. My daughter is vegetarian and has struggled to find anything beyond pizza in a lot of the restaurants locally, so she was very excited to have the vegetarian risotto. I also chose the squid ink risotto. Even though they are on the menu as starters they were very good portions - plenty for us. Both had fantastic flavour and cooked to perfection. That also left us with a good excuse to order dessert... We went for the tiramisu and a Panna cotta. Both were delicious and the strawberry sauce with the Panna cotta was to die for. Service was great, the waiters were lovely and you can watch your food being cooked in the kitchen. Otherwise just take in the fabulous views just in case you run out of scintillating conversation. What a shame, we saw this restaurant the previous night. The smell outside was awesome, it looked busy so thought we would come back the following night.

We were met by a greeter and asked if we had a booking? We didn’t, the greeter looked at a book and said ok come with me.

The location is great, in the trees close to the waters edge. A play frame for kids outside, looks fun (we don’t have young kids), also looks like it’s half fallen down, which it isn’t, it’s very sturdy.

We ordered a chicken dish, and the appearance looked great, however the taste was different. The chicken was very fatty, which was a let down for us. But from what I saw around us. The other dishes looked very nice, so we may have just been unlucky. Was more expensive than the other places we had eaten at as well.

This restaurant nestles amongst the pines and gazes out to sea, exuding a busy but relaxed vibe. However, the service is very slow and slightly surly. Maybe that’s how Croatians are. The tempura shrimps were very good; nice crisp batter. Mussels tasty but several had not been properly prepared and still had beards attached. Main course chicken apparently good, almost inhaled by my guest! Squid over seasoned and accompanying chard/potato mix over cooked and mushy. We had to ask twice for our wine (see note above re: service) and would have had dessert and coffee, had they been offered. They weren’t, so we didn’t. We went elsewhere for those.
