Crumbl — Restaurant in Carlsbad

I've always loved Crumbl, but I've noticed that this location in particular doesn't have any positive customer/employee interaction. If I need to ask a question, I am always met with annoyance from the employees that they have to drop what they're doing and help. This time I came in, there were no other customers and two employees within 10 feet of the register, but I wasn't greeted or anything like that. I tried to put in my order and the machine didn't work, so I moved to the next one. That machine didn't work either, so I asked an employee for help. She got angry with me and even told me I needed to "speak up" and that the machine worked, I just "didn't use it right". She told me to try again, so I moved to another machine and it worked. I was even prompted to give a tip, which I didn't quite understand. I got my order from the end of the counter and left without being spoken to. I'm really sad that the layout of this store has become just "put in your own order, tip us, and leave". Also, unfortunately, this time the cookies weren't...

Ambiance: Clean Food: Cookies were a little too tough and crunchy for our liking. We have had crumbl cookies multiple times before and they were always soft and chewy and fresh. Today that wasn't the case, besides the tres leches cake which was really yummy and moist. Service: Terrible. The girl handling our cookies used the same dirty gloves she was using a dirty rag to clean a counter with, and proceeded to pick up our cookies to put in the box with the SAME GLOVES. Luckily my mom caught it and confronted her. She looked at us, didn't say anything, and changed her gloves. Another guy witnessed what had happened and started shaking his head, but again nothing was said.

so just 10 minutes ago, I went to the Crumbl cookie in Carlsbad and we were waiting for our cookies, and my grandma had asked the worker if she could get a box to go, and the girl responded with what with an attitude and rolled her eyes and went back and snatched the box, And hand it to her like if she was a dog. She was being really rude and she says next time you come in here just know that we charge for a box. I literally just asked for a small box and she got crazy so I Didn't want to cause an issue, but what she pulled was really effed up especially when we just asked for a box, we didn't know that we had to pay because that was our first time there I felt like they were racial profiling cause we were the only Mexicans with color in there.....
