UPDATE AFTER 3 VISITS: I am sad to say that the quality of the food varied significantly between the first two times and the third/last time. The staff confirmed that there was a different chef cooking and the food was much more bland the third time. The octopus was still good, but nowhere close to the first two times. Ropa vieja was completely tasteless as well, seemed like it wasn't seasoned at all.
Make sure both chefs are keeping the same/better level of the standard as we were pretty disappointed with our last dinner here. Too bad!
Wow, what a hidden little gem in Trinidad! Service is impeccable, the terrace tables are beautiful to watch the sunset and indulge in fresh seafood and the prices are reasonable. Without a doubt, best octopus I ever had, so soft and tender!
The terrace can get a bit breezy towards the evening, so bring a jumper.
Staff is extremely kind, top notch service!
Tip to the owners: reduce the lighting in the terrace and make it a bit more romantic with some small candles on every table. Put some nice chill Cuban music and invest a bit more in marketing with casas.
