I've been driving past this restaurant for twenty five years and finally ventured inside (outside). The name sums it up perfectly: Harmony, Here everything is balanced. The food is top quality and hand picked by the owner from the market most days, The food preparation is excellent and traditional, Everything is freshly made, Delicious kleftico, (Best I've had in Paphos) Lamb chops perfectly grilled and very tasty, Avocados ripe and tasty, prawns juicy and tender. This is a family run business and everyone we encountered was enthusiastic about their product and happy to serve. The garden and hanging vines are spectacular and anyone who's ever tended a garden will be able to feel the amount of work and care the owner has put into it. Harmony is a real oasis in what has become a seafront landscape of huge, over-priced, fancy hotels. Visiting here is just like stepping back in time to the old Paphos, great food, great service, great value. Well done -...
Read moreAWFUL SERVICE AND HIDDEN CHARGES. Came here tonight but first dinner in Cyprus and was completely disappointed by Harmony. We asked for tap water with our meal and a bottle turned up that I tried to decline with the server but English was a barrier. When we politely addressed the water charge at the time of the bill the waiter shouts ‘Fine fine I’ll take it off, it’s just 2 euros’ and storms away. The issue is not the money, the issue is being upsold through sneaky hidden charges. The way he got defensive makes me think this is a common practice for this restaurant and they expect people to just pay simply because it’s only 2 euros. Very sneaky, very rude, awful place, do not recommend.
On the food side - even worse. The lamb tavan dish tasted awful, very excessively sweet, the 3 pieces of veg on the side were boiled and unseasoned with no effort. It was very expensive for terrible...
Read moreWhat a fantastic restaurant and our favourite place to eat during our 2 week stay. Harmony's was a short walk from our villa and thanks to the reviews on here, we decided to give it a go. The reviews on here are spot on and you get a great dining experience from a very friendly and welcoming team. The food was made to a high standard and had an authentic home cooked feel - yet achieved high restaurant quality . Worth the short travel out of Paphos and Coral bay if you are looking for a good dining experience as an alternative to the mass produced offerings in the busier parts of the island. The owner also took time to talk with us about the restaurant, which was greatly appreciated and a nice touch. We were also fascinated by the outside seating area which sits beneath a tangle of grape vines and other vegetables. I've never seen anything like that before! Would...
