Manzanillo Restaurant — Restaurant in Κοινότητα Κισσόνεργας

We visited the restaurant three times during our family holiday in Cyprus in July 2022. The food and service are excellent. The chef Kostas and the Latvian waitress are very welcoming people and provide one of the best food/service in the whole island. We tried several restaurants in Cyprus and this one was for sure the best. The menu is pretty wide and includes very nice starters (reccommend the mushrooms with feta and dips- especially the beetroot spread), meat dishes, salads, desserts, and the childs dishes too, so evebody can choose. The main dishes were accompanied by a very tasty potato mesh, boiled vegetables and celery-carrot mesh/souce. I especially reccommend trying the rocket salad with dried figs, dried tomatoes and parmesan! The place has a terrace and an indoor sitting area. By far the best Mediterranean restaurant I have even been in Cyprus. Every single dish is thoughtfully crafted and utterly delicious. Green salad with figures and parmigiano was wonderful, thick tzatziki, creamy feta with chilly. Mushrooms gratin with sun-dried tomatoes was exciting balance of taste. Lamb shank was slowly cooked to absolute perfection. Love it! Sea bass was properly seasoned and cooked. Simple yet sophisticated mix of Greek and Italian food. Excellent wine list with a lot of local wine. Tried house wine, both red and white was very good. The prices are very reasonable. Exceptionally open service by waitress Sanita and Chief of the restaurant was making sure we enjoy our dinner. Cyprus friendliness at its best and it is a perfect place to relax. Went to this restaurant on 22/11/18 was greeted at the door by a very pleasant lady. First Impression very clean, very nice decor and a pleasing atmosphere. The food was excellent and value for money, the chef came to see all his guest to ensure their meals were enjoyed which I thought was a fantastic thing to do. However it did take a little while for the food to arrive but was very much worth the wait,as everything was cooked fresh all in all this was by far the best meal out we've had on our week in Cyprus.
