YESTERDAY i had to be rescued from the sea by some surfers. Thank the lord for there bravery wasnt a red flag and got caught in a riptide. Swam sideways out of it stayed calm then hit undercurrent fighting for my life with all my strength to stay above water and i am a very strong swimmer. I screamed for help and lifeguard wasnt at station was up at the bar Luckily there where surfers who risked there lives and come and rescued me. Please by all means 5 stars for bar restaurant and views but stay out water has can change in an instant

I had the pleasure of spending a day at Sandy Beach in Cyprus and I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made!

The location is just perfect - the beach is stunning with fine golden sand and crystal clear water. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas so you can always find a spot to enjoy the sun. The sunset here is an absolute highlight and should not be missed!

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. From reception to the waiters and waitresses on the beach - everyone always endeavoured to make our stay unforgettable. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the entire facility. It is constantly tidied and cleaned, which gives the whole area a pleasant atmosphere.

I can only warmly recommend...

Sunbeds and parasol 2.50 EUR each, so for two persons it is 7.50 EUR daily - I think that is reasonable…. The bar located next to the beach offers a variety of beach foods (burgers, deep fried everything and of course chips and some crackers), cocktails are quite good and not too pricey (6 EUR for most of the cocktails). The beach is sandy all right, but a bit trashy (beach goers should put their waste in the trashbin instead of under the sunbeds). The sea is the best and the cleanest in the morning and early afternoon - enjoyable waves for teens and adults, not so much for families with small children. After 15:00 there is more and more seaweed in the water… and I mean a lot of seaweed… you shouldn’t try going through it...
