I visited here a few times last year and twice this year, but unfortunately this will be my last visit. Something seems to have changed with the atmosphere and the staff —the welcoming feeling just isn’t there anymore.
On my first visit this year, I wore a dry bikini top with long pants. The staff kindly asked me to change my outfit, which I (kinda) understood since it was handled politely. But there were no other guests and I would have understand if it was a full restaurant with people well-dressed in the evening. But it was 2:00 pm on a Monday.
On my second visit, I was dressed in a normal jumpsuit and followed all the rules. I sat in a large wicker chair outside (image is attached) and kinda separate from the main tables around 3:00 p.m. There were no other guests outside, only me. I sat cross-legged in the chair (without putting my feet on the table or doing anything inappropriate) because it was a really large chair, but I was asked to put my legs down. When I politely asked why, I was simply told that they do not allow it. After that, I felt very uncomfortable because the staff kept looking at me strangely, as if I was being strictly monitored. It gave me the impression that I was constantly doing something wrong, which completely ruined the atmosphere.
I go with the other reviews which explain the same feeling I had. I know that the owner will reply something about hygiene policy or respect other guests. But firstly there were no other guests and I think it’s important that the staff should act according to the situation, rather than applying rules rigidly. It’s clear what kind of clientele the restaurant is trying to attract, and sadly, it no longer feels welcoming...
Read moreUnfriendly staff. We were just there with our baby. 6.7.25 at 6pm and wanted to order ice cream. The waitress told us very unfriendly that there has been no ice cream here for over 3 years. Not true, we are regular guests and live next door ;-) 1.5 years ago we always had ice cream for dessert. It's about the way she talked to my 2 year old son, very nasty, rude and unfriendly. We left hundreds of euros in the restaurant several times and will tell everyone about this unfriendliness. The lady then said that I wasn't allowed to park here if I wasn't eating. We didn't want to eat with the unfriendly waitress. Then she quickly changed the car park pin code so that we could no longer get out of the car park, the barrier was closed. How child-unfriendly! And that's what our neighbours are like. Terrible. By the way, another very nice waitress came, she had noticed everything and opened the gate for the car park for me. I told her that we would never come back, not our friends, family and work colleagues. There are plenty of better restaurants in our neighbourhood! :-) Best...
Read moreI’m sorry that you chose to claim I had never dined at your restaurant. In fact, I visited with my family on 25 March. The Black Linguine had no flavour except an overpowering cream taste. When we asked the waitress about it, we were told the chef insisted the dish was fine. The service overall was very poor; apart from the lovely natural scenery next to the restaurant, I couldn’t find redeeming qualities. That same day I also witnessed a dispute between a waitress and the guests at the neighbouring table over their seating arrangement before my dining.
Regarding your restaurant’s strict restroom policy, I will refrain from making any comment. However, I was truly disappointed to see three staff members refuse a pregnant woman’s request to use the restroom as...
