We normally stay at a hotel, but being a special occasion we booked a villa, to accommodate our two grown up sons. This was in the Aphroditi 3 bedroom Villa, this has 3 good size en-suite rooms, two on the first floor and the master on the ground floor. this is a well equipped and spacious venue, a terrific garden with private pool and outside "kitchen area" for bbq's, it also has decent free wifi and a car port if you happen to have a hire car. For sure I would recommend this to anyone, the villa was clean and tidy on arrival with the get you in pack which is detailed on the owners website. As far as facilities nearby are concerned there is a bus stop a short 5 minute walk away opposite the Antlantica hotel, and short of that a fantastic restaurant called Harmony, great food and reasonable prices, out of the villa to the main road and turn right takes you to a small strip of restaurants and shop, the Sienna, New Horizon and more plus a small Par 3 golf course, at the time of writing 15Euros a round including club hire, again no more than a 5 minute walk. All in all highly recommended a friendly proprietor whom will help with any special requirements and you are just left alone to enjoy...
Read moreWe had previously stayed in Villa Einalia at Platzia about 13yrs ago with our teenaged children, so we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed either, and the Villa has been refurbished in between times. |The Villa comprises of a ground floor double bedroom, and two first floor bedrooms. The upper rooms were furnished with two single beds each. All bedrooms have a modern en-suite, albeit the ground floor bedroom is via the communal hallway. |Kitchen well equipped, not that we used it much. A fine bbq area outside, and a lovely private swimming pool. |This village is set back from the sea frontage, but still has sea views. The beach is swimmable, but rocky and pebbly. Good for snorkelling. |A car port keeps the hire care a bit cooler!|The manager Michael is regularly on site and is friendly and efficient. |We did have a visit on two occasions from harmless tarantula spiders. One was fully grown and in the car port, and a juvenile inside the kitchen. Just to warn those in fear of spiders, we have invaded their territory. The worst they can offer is a bee sting like bite. |Another relaxing visit in a beautiful location. Would visit...
Read moreI initially booked an Easter break for my family through Travel Republic at these villas. As soon as I realised that the pool in the villa we were booked into wasn't heated I contacted Michael the owner directly. He was really helpful and moved us to an ocean front villa & heated the pool ready for our arrival.||We arrived at the villa in the early hours of the morning to find everything was ready and waiting for us including a food pack to get us started.||Villa Afrogenia is lovely. It is well decorated and furnished. The pool area is great too.||We wanted a relaxing holiday, which is exactly what we had. Michael came to attend to the pool every day but we hardly noticed him coming and going. However, if you needed anything he was very approachable and helpful.||There's a cat called Seb who is resident at the villas. He's very friendly and my youngest daughter fell in love with him.||Overall Platzia Villas are a brilliant place to stay. There are shops and restaurants close by, but it is very easy to get to Paphos harbour & the tourist area. I will definitely stay...
