I am always surprised, when you are entering a restaurant on Cyprus, restaurant is completely empty and you are ask if you have a reservation, if you say no, seams always to be difficult to find you a place. Every employee in this business should be able to calculate fast, general a single person needs about 60 to 90 min to be out again. Same at Wolfgangs, when I came in, had the impression I am causing a problem as I did not had a reservation (Monday 7pm), but I got a table (when I left, 2 more tables have been occupied).
Service has been throughout very good, from my point of view, overdone, it is, so called, just a steakhouse, not a Michelin star restaurant.
Prices are like in a Michelin star restaurant, but price and quality are not in relation.
I tried to find out, why this is called a steakhouse, beside main dishes, 6 choices of different steaks, nothing else on the menu was related to a steak house, more to a fish restaurant.
Ordered one an appetizer and a steak what has been offered in two sizes, smallest steak 250g for 42€, comes with a choice of sauce... that’s it. Side dishes to be payed extra: Spinach 8€, “German fried potatoes” 12€ (for potatoes!!! Makes in total 62€ for a steak, potatoes and spinach...) Potatoes announced as crispy, what I have received was everything, but not what has been promised. I cannot imagine a real cook has prepared this dish. Overloaded with unprofessional cut of onions and just burned, part time completely black, other parts of the potatoes seemed just cooked. When I complained about the potatoes, have been told: this is not the way they are usually served (!?), why do I get it served in the wrong way? Sure it got taken off the bill, but no other gesture like inviting me for a coffee or a drink. As a suggestion for your chef: first cook the potatoes (with skin), peel the potatoes and let them cool down (1day in the fridge) cut the potatoes in slices just before you wanna roast them, pepper/salt, give enough time, shortly before they are ready to get served, add the small cut onions, otherwise they will get burned. The steak was good, appetizer also ok, but all in all just ok.
I have been surprised about the dessert menu, all dishes 9€, fresh fruit plate 14€.
One last point, I have posted a comment on FB, no reaction at all... seems the management don’t care about their...
Read moreI recently dined at Wolfgangs Steakhouse in Limassol, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant exudes a fantastic ambiance that sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. The dim lighting, elegant decor, and soothing music create the perfect atmosphere for a special evening.
Wolfgangs Steakhouse truly delivers on the promise of great food. The menu offers a variety of mouthwatering options, but if I may make a recommendation, don't miss out on their ribeye steak. It's cooked to perfection, with a beautifully seared crust and a tender, juicy center that's bursting with flavor.
What truly stood out, though, was the service. The staff at Wolfgang Steakhouse went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. Their attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and warm hospitality made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout the meal.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a restaurant with great ambiance, delicious food, and absolutely amazing service, Wolfgangs Steakhouse in Limassol is the place to be. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out, you won't be...
Read moreThe decoration was nice and the stuff very polite, but this place in not value for money at all. Even if one is a multi-billionaire, it does not worth to spend his/her money to this super expensive restaurant and I will explain why. Let's take an example: "T-bone steak ~650gr bone-in" costs 84euros. This means that pure meat (unless you eat bones...) will be approx. 300-350gr that will cost you 84euros, but with a couple of more euros (e.g. 89euros) you can have a Wagyu steak elsewhere of the same weight!!! Similar applies to all other steaks. In addition, a small plate of steak fries costed 9euros!!! Unfortunately, I was invited to have dinner there, but if I could I would have left from the first minute. Since I didn't want to pay for a super overpriced steak and since I had to order something to eat, I tried the linguini with shrimps (28euros) that as you can see from the photos, it was bad and extremely oily!! Before visiting this place, it happened to pass outside many times and I was wondering why such a nice place is almost empty all the time? Now that I did the mistake to visit...
