I ordered a strawberry daquiry and it was great! As far as I can tell the cocktails of this bar is a must try. It was a working day the day after, and it was already late, the tables has half empty, but the bar on the other side was full of people around of it, having a good time. I wish i could see it on a Saturday night, but no worries, I'll come back in the near future. The highlight of the night: I got this blissful Mediterranean feeling hearing the sea and feel that sea breeze on my face. I saw young fresh people smiling and having a good time in a vibrant beach bar. The music was... I don't known! My attention was in the beautyful beach sounds! The personell was smiling and had a positive attitude, I wish i could stay more that night. To make a long story short the place deserves five stars for all the above, but I think there's more to see in this pleasant youthful place. Highly recommended I will definitely come back as I said before! Just keep in mind that it would be very different in the morning full of people drinking coffee and taking a dive that's for sure. There's a big difference between morning and late night, we are talking about...
Read moreNot too impressed. Nice place on the beach, food was not good - I was pre-warned however - and everyone who found out I went commented to me, "yeah, the food was bad, right?" So much potential for this place though as it is in a great location and nicely set-up. Just a few areas to tighten up: 1) Kitchen must get it together on the food!! 2) Music was turned up way to loud and I literally could not hear the person sitting beside me. 3) After the food hit the table, NOT ONCE did a server come by to check on us. 4) Nobody could find our reservation. Lack of communication on the team. After walking around the restaurant to see if we could find my party, they asked one lady who knew exactly where we were - why did the others not know on checking in. You must communicate. Same happened to another friend who was late join iij ng us as nobody knew where we were, so she took it on herself to find us, and she did. So, based on the experience, should only be 2 stars at best, but you do have So Much potential to be great, so giving 3. Please get...
Read moreVisiting La Isla for our friend's special night out was a big mistake as it was ruined by the venue's staff. Not only did they NOT wear a mask when serving, taking orders etc, but when asked to wear their masks properly, their response was "why are you not wearing it?", when I am sitting, dining and following government protocols. Additionally, what made our evening worse was when a waiter was taking our orders, was laughing sarcastically, and when asked what was so funny, his response, in greek was, "I will tell you later when I bring your food". Subsequently, when we requested to speak to his manager regarding his rude approach, he replied with, "I do not speak greek now". From that point on, all waiters were laughing when passing our table, were disrespectful and rude. Another waiter when asked to bring us salt, pepper, cheese and the last dish we ordered, his response was "I only have two hands". Terrible experience, it is a HUGE no no from us, we will never visit again and will also advise people we know, not to...
