First, I would like to mention that our server was wonderful, friendly, and professional. However, we were extremely disappointed with the food and felt that the experience did not match the prices charged. In particular, we ordered 50 grams of caviar, as shown on our bill, but what we received looked far from that amount. I have attached photos for your reference. We dine regularly at restaurants that serve caviar, and we are familiar with standard serving sizes. Typically, 50 grams of caviar is presented in a full pot, similar to the reference photo we’ve attached, which is from novikov. The caviar we received on the five blinis looks more like 5 g per piece – around 25 grams in total, not 50 grams as stated. I will include a photo of what a 5g caviar bump looks like. Likewise, the portion of caviar served on the cheese was said to be 30 grams, which from my pov isn’t the case. We visited Balik with a group of friends and enjoyed an experience that truly stood out. From the moment we arrived, the elegant atmosphere, warm lighting and refined décor created the perfect setting for a relaxed yet upscale evening. The service was exceptional, with discreet and genuinely attentive staff who made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the night.

The food impressed us with its quality, clean flavors and beautiful presentation. We paired our dinner with champagne, which elevated the whole experience and complemented the dishes perfectly. The restaurant looks quite cute, but it was completely empty when we arrived. We ordered the Balik Mimosa, which was okay but nothing special. Then we tried the St. Moritz Taster, which supposedly included 30 grams of caviar — but it looked more like 10 grams to me. Since everything is plated in the kitchen, it’s hard to tell the exact amount, but I’ve added pictures along with a comparison photo of a 50 gram caviar box for reference.
