Last night I visited a new restaurant in Limassol called Little Italy, located inside the Ararat Tower, which also houses a few other dining options. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed — the space is absolutely beautiful and full of charm. It feels like stepping into a small, picturesque courtyard somewhere in Italy, with lovely lighting and a cozy, romantic atmosphere. Unfortunately, while the setting was stunning, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. We started with some antipasti recommended by the staff. Although a few bites had pleasant flavors, nothing truly stood out or felt memorable. On the other hand, my cocktail, which I believe was called C’est La Vie, was fantastic — creative, well-balanced, and exactly to my taste. Things took a turn when it came to the main course, as there was quite a long delay before our dishes arrived. It seemed like something went wrong with the order. Out of our group, only my friend who ordered the seafood pasta was satisfied; she said it was flavorful and nicely cooked. My other friend and I both chose pizzas — he went for a Margherita, and I had the Mortadella Pistachio — and we were honestly disappointed. The base wasn’t real pizza dough; it felt more like a thin tortilla, and the toppings were incomplete. Mine only had mortadella and rocket, with no pistachios at all, which I suspect they simply forgot. We mentioned it to the manager, but unfortunately, no one followed up. To their credit, they did offer us complimentary desserts to make up for the situation, and they were excellent — especially the tiramisu, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The profiterole was also very good. Overall, Little Italy is a visually stunning restaurant with great potential, but the kitchen needs some fine-tuning to match the quality of the ambiance. I’d consider giving it another try in the future, hoping for a more consistent...
Read morePaying 35 euros for 4 pieces of baby chicken full of bones and no sides hmmmm....and you already have in your mind that Thymaris chicken tastes better with a 3rd of this restaurant price then you know this is a very bad place to go for food. You will pay for something that its nowhere near the quality you are paying for and thats a fact. About service, the woman who took our order she was clueless with no explanation whatsoever for what we are getting. The others who were serving us were ok. The only thing I didnt really like it was they were very attentive. So you want to speak and relax with your woman and someone's on top of you all the time pouring the water. I mean leave us alone, we are out to relax and enjoy our evening. We also went on a weekday with not a lot of tables and we were waiting for more than 50 min to be served, imagine if it was a weekend we would probably not eat at all. The folks there wont survive being next to places like ZEN and ACANE which are by far better than this. Brutal.and honest opinion I hope this place takes this review seriously as they have a lot of things to improve on, maybe take some notes from Zen and Acane so maybe you stand a chance being...
Read moreWe went out to Little Italy restaurant to celebrate our 15th anniversary and it was worth it. The restaurant is located in Ararat, which is a high end complex, serving food in their 'Signature collection' restaurants. The restaurant opened only a week back but it was buzzing with people.
AMBIENCE: Very good. Warm and ample lighting. Good decor. We sat inside but it also has and outside seating.
SERVICE: 5 star service. Our waitress Abigail was extremely sweet and took great care of us. The managers themselves went to every table to take feed back. We were served 2 complimentary glasses of wine and Tiramisu to celebrate our anniversary.
FOOD: The thinnest and one of the most delicious pizzas we have had. We ordered Pasta with pesto sauce, Mushroom risotto, Bruschetta (we are vegetarian). The quality and taste were great but the quantity is debatable. I strongly believe that a portion of any main course item should be able to fill ones stomach. The portion size was really small. Tiramisu was very fresh and authentic but slightly too sweet for our taste and it needed more biscotti. Overall a great place to eat and celebrate. It is...
