Levanta — Restaurant in Ayia Napa

Disappointing experience – wouldn’t return Having dined at various places in Ayia Napa, we feel confident in saying this was one of the least satisfying meals we had. While the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere cozy and pleasant, the food simply did not meet expectations.

The dishes were overpriced for the quality and portion size. The chicken was extremely dry – barely chewable – and lacked flavor. The salad came with wilted greens and even the dried ends of cucumbers, which gave the impression of poor attention to detail. The portion of sauce provided was so small it barely lasted for a few bites.

Levanta tries to present itself as a higher-end dining spot, but the quality just doesn't match the prices. With so many better options in town, both in terms of taste and value, we wouldn't...

Overall we had a lovely evening . The restaurant is nice and spacious, clean and relaxing . The starters we ordered were both delicious, my partner had the bbq chicken wings and I had the mozzarella and tomato salad . Unfortunately the main meals were disappointing we are sorry to say . The partner had the Rib-eye steak which was over cooked , dry and lacking in flavour . I had the fillet beef bourguignon which tasted very salty and the steak was chewy for fillet and not tender at all . Not one for usually sharing reviews I feel I have to for this amazing restaurant.

We decided to visit to celebrate the end of our destination wedding and before returning home we wanted to leave the hotel and have a meal out with all our family. Not knowing the area I simply messaged them on Facebook and booked a large table. We arrived and what can I say, they should be so proud of themselves.
