We had a dinner in this restaurant after walking around and trying to decide where to eat. The man near the entrance approached us and said they have specialty in steaks and fish. We ordered greek salad, chicken wings and souvlaki. I ordered mojito and my husband ordered baileys coffee. We felt when men who greeted us and was taking an order that he was either in a rush or impatient, we did not felt relaxing atmosphere, although after a long day this is exactly what we wanted- to relax, but not to be rushed to make a selection. When the drinks arrived mojito did not taste like mojito, i am not even sure which alcohol was used as it tasted unpleasant, and coffee was average. Food was not tasty as well and it is a first time in my life when someone ruined a greek salad. There were few slices of tomato, a lot of cucumbers and onion, and instead of feta they used some other cheese, maybe anari. The bill was almost 60 euros for not enjoying our meal. Do...
Read morePros: Ambiance. A couple of TVs with sports on, but the volume was not blaring. Food was decent.
Cons: Although decent, I was expecting more from the meal. I started with a tzatziki appetizer. It came with a big bowl of tzatziki (delicious!) But only two pieces of pita. I think it equated to one full slice. I may be one person, but if that's the case why give so much dip?? The entree was salmon with mashed potatoes and some veggies. The salmon was a little overcooked causing it be kind of dry. The bearnaise sauce that came with it was yummy and helped to offset the dryness. The couple of baby carrots, and one asparagus stalk (cut in 1/4s and wrapped in bacon) were delicious. The mashed potatoes were presented lovely, but were very bland. I was presented with a shot of Ouzo when given my check which was super nice - no, I did not make any complaints while there, I think it's just customary for them.
All in all, it wasn't bad but I...
Read moreDidn’t even get the chance to sit and eat there. We were walking near the place with my girlfriend, she was carrying a plastic bag with some sweets packed in small boxes (from a bakery). And we decided to check the menu shown outside and make a reservation for the next day. However (potentially) the owner came and as soon as he saw the bag, his exact words were: “You are carrying food, but checking my menu, unbelievable” and just left. It was very rude and arrogant. Didn’t know that you are not allowed to buy nothing from stores around and show up there or that you must go there literally empty handed, no bags allowed. We didn’t even wanted to sit, but to make reservation. Awful atmosphere. We are very big group of friends here, and definitely made sure no one to visit this place. Disgraceful management! Better close the place, as i see that every 2nd review...
