This hotel is an absolute gem right in the centre of Ayia Napa! We spent a three night mini break here in August. ||Arrival:|The lady on reception when we arrived was great, she made us feel very welcome and explained everything. |Before our arrival we had messaged and requested a double room on a high floor and that's exactly what we got! Our room was on the 3rd floor with a brilliant view of the fun fair, the sea and right over Ayia Napa||The room:|It was spotlessly clean and the towels were changed every day. The lady cleaning our room was lovely and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning and the balcony were great. ||Breakfast:|There was a great selection at breakfast, something for everyone. A fry up, fresh fruit, continental, cereals, pastries even porridge! |It was nice to sit out on the terrace.||The pool:|It was very clean and well looked after. The staff were always sweeping up the leaves falling from the trees. The bar was great with very reasonably priced cocktails and Christo was a great barman! Such great service. ||Parking: |It was great, we didn't have a problem getting a parking spot. ||Location:|The location of the hotel is awesome! It's in the centre of everything!! There are so many restaurants, the habour, the beach all in walking distance. Yes it's noisy at night but it's Ayia Napa!!! We took earplugs ;-) ||Staff:|Every member of staff we met was an absolute credit to the hotel. They made our stay so special. We will definitely be back and have already recommended...
Read morebathroom was full of ants, uncomfortable bed with old equipment. breakfast was not satisfying at all, bad quality overall. But the worst thing about this place is the stuff. They have been very unprofessional since the time we arrived. one lady receptionist asked us who are we and which room we have as we were waiting the elevator, with a very bad, bad manner. And when we asked her why if something was wrong, she simply said "i don't know you" like thats our responsibility. The other receptionist guy next morning told us "you know its forbidden right" indicating that we got a bunch of single use mayonnaises since we were a table of five people. "forbidden" to eat as much as you want in a buffet is a new level of low hospitality for me. The place would have been shut down years ago if it wasn't for it's convenient spot. Worst experience in the island
Edit: We booked 3 rooms, not one. you could at least do the minimum and inform yourself about your clients/bookings but apparently you failed that just like your stuff.Train your employees how to be polite for starters, or hire ones that can actually work, and renovate that place as soon as possible and let the excuses aside. Like your receptionist didn't know how to answer the doorbell and had to let us wait there 10 minutes for "security reasons" but knew how to count to ten when he saw the mayo complimentaries on our breakfast...
Read moreOur stay at this hotel was an unpleasant experience and it almost ruined our vacation. The hotel looks nice from the outside, but not on the inside. The hallway carpet is dirty and there is a very stale smell. The rooms look acceptable, but the walls are not very clean, the bed linens and towels are clearly very worn out, and the cleaning is done superficially.
In the bathroom, around the bathtub, near the sink, and even on the floor in the room, there were ants. But these were harmless compared to the bedbugs we found in the headboard of the bed. Room 209 was infested with bedbugs.
Our room was changed when we informed the reception, but the next day we decided to leave the hotel because I no longer felt safe sleeping there.
I am sorry to leave this review, as the staff was understanding and refunded our money, but these issues must be addressed for the sake of the people who choose to stay...
