It’s a pity I have to give only 3 stars and even those for the service, a waiter, young man, was extremely polite and friendly. Nevertheless, unfortunately, we cannot call the food Georgian 🇬🇪 I love Georgia and its kitchen, but this time it didn’t taste like Georgian at all... my husband is half Armenian and he knows perfectly how exactly dishes should taste: Dolma, as he had commented, was only the name but not the dish itself, as anyone can mix rice with meat and roll it into grape leaves while the real Dolma should have its original taste which was absent. Similar with kharcho soup which is supposed to be spicy and contain pieces of meat, not the whole big piece + there was some porridge (why?). Place itself looks nice, prices are ok, beer as in any other restaurant. Everything above is about the food my husband has ordered. The reason - I wanted to get my favorite Georgian dish - Adjarian Khachapuri and I couldn’t as they had NO CHEESE and said they weren’t able to make it 🥺 As a result I haven’t ordered anything as I wanted that exact dish. Among the advantages I can list the compliment bread with butter and again the politeness of the waiter who gave us a coupon for a free glass of wine and 10% discount for another visit after our...
Read moreWhen we walked by this place we were fascinated by the atmosphere so when we walked by again we decided to pick this place for dinner. Then, when we entered, we were greeted by an absolutely heart-warming ambience. The staff was super friendly and the prices were okay but sadly the food couldn't live up to the expectations set. We ordered a mushroom soup which was good but the lamb chops dish was very poorly done. First of all it took quite some time, so I wasn't able to eat at the same time as my partner. Secondly the meat was cheap and full of tendons. The sauce that came with it was good but pretty basic. The salad that came with it was topped with cheap old oil or at least that's what it tasted like. One thing though, again, the staff was friendly and showed us their gorgeous garden. This is one of the most beautiful restaurant gardens I've ever seen and it's a perfect background for portraits. Probably best during day time though. I am really sad to only be able to give three stars but if it was only for the food, I'd needed to give just one star. All the other aspects deserve a 5...
Read moreArriving at the restaurant we were welcomed by the friendly stuff and we were impressed by the atmosphere of the place. The menu is set up in a way that you can view what you are ordering however it was still difficult to understand what the ingredients were. The stuff though was more than helpful in explaining the dishes and were able to make suggestions as well. What you meed to know is that portions are not that good so if you want to leave with a full stomach you need to at least order a couple of dishes per person. Prices move around an average of €9. Food was avarage at best with an exception of the soups and a few items from the grill menu. Overall i am giving 3 stars since we were really disappointed by the food since there were cases of tast less menu items like the spinach pie or undercooked like the...
