Hacı'nın Yeri — Restaurant in Gazimağusa Belediyesi

Nice location! Extremely expensive -350-400 TL - almost double or triple than other döner burger shops deep in the city of Famagusta/(here they call it Mağusa). A bit further (5min) drive i found a döner kebap and bought two döners, medium size + two ayran drinks, for all together, approximate - 340 TL. That place is made for tourists-not for locals. Locals rarely sit down to eat here due to sky high prices. Service is ok. Taste is nice and everywhere in Famagusta town food is approximately same nice quality. But the location is one of the best locations ever in Famagusta, exactly in the Center, near the roundabout from where you drive to Deryneia Border/Republic of Cyprus. Opposite of the restaurant Hacı'nın Yeri is the Central City Roman Wall, majestic historical, beautiful - Not to be missed!!! But definitely the restaurant itself( a very-very simple place compared to Europe's) does not deserve to sell for such a prices the döner as 400 TL. Fantastic place serving Cypriot style kebabs and is especially popular with the locals.

Opted for a mixed döner served in a Cypriot pita with some salad. Everything was all fresh and tasty. Complimentary “turşu” (pickled vegetables) was also provided.
