Went for a late dinner in the castle walls of Old Magusa (Famagusta) and found this lovely, quiet, courtyard restaurant which is a complete contrast to its large, loud and bustling neighbouring restaurant. We were seated by a lovely kind lady and ordered the Meze meal which doesn't appear on the daytime set menu. First came a selection of cold Meze and bread, then a selection of hot Meze - grilled Helim (Halloumi), Sigara borek. Then a plate of pasta with grated Helim and mint topping. After this the mixed charcoal grilled meats start coming out individually - chicken shish, chicken wings, lamb shish, lamb chops and then finally the Seftali kebab. A plate of fruit and baklava followed by coffee to round off the evening. Nothing is rushed and the service is very attentive. Read moreFrom the moment we walked in, we knew this place was something special—not just because of the fantastic food, but because of the people. The dishes were absolutely delicious, each bite full of flavor and clearly made with care. But what made the night truly unforgettable was the incredible team behind it all. Cello is a woman with a truly beautiful soul—warm, welcoming, and full of grace. Mertt is an absolute gem—friendly, attentive, and just an all-around fantastic guy. Every single member of the staff made us feel at home. We came for dinner, but we left feeling like we found a family. Laughter, kindness, and joy filled the room. Thank you for such a beautiful experience—we can't wait...

The servers were very entertaining and funny, music and atmosphere was good, a traditional cyprus experience. The waiter merz was paritcularly funny, 150% energy. The only thing was the mezze was slightly expensive, and we didnt ask for the price ahead of time, so this was our fault. But overall great experience, best food in cyprus, would...
