Well, unfortunately I didn’t experience the instant service described in the last review. There did appear to be a lot of staff who were concentrating mainly on a sort of conservatory area. However I did finally receive my chicken wings which were very well cooked as I’d requested on “Google translator”. The parsley and onion salad garnish was mainly onions and someone in the kitchen was extra heavy handed with the “aci biber” (hot red pepper dried flakes). I think the server told me in some kind of English/Turkish that this is what customers want. The chips and bulgur was edible. This is very likely true as all the customers were either Kurds, Turks or foreign students with a taste for such hot flavours. Juicy chicken wings, perfectly grilled chicken kebab, tender beef, flavorful shawarma, and delicious little bites filled with melting cheese and meat. It came served with bulgur and crispy French fries, making it a complete and hearty meal.
Service was quick and the staff were polite and welcoming. The environment is simple and unpretentious, but the quality of the food speaks for itself. All this at a very reasonable price — great value for money!
Highly recommended for anyone craving a real taste of...
Read moreWe had Lahmacun and Adana for dinner. Was one of the best lahmacuns I had in a while - crispy, hot, fresh, super thin and very, very tasty. The complimentary salads with pomegranate sauce and pickled paprika were top notch addition! The eating area is very spacey and big fans kept us cool and safe from mosquitos. Personnel were respectful and very attentive. For a group of 4 people, 2 adanas and 4 lahmacuns total, we paid something like 1100 liras for the whole thing with drinks included. We were on a low budget, so decided to give this place a try despite rather lower rating, and were so surprised by the experience that we made sure to make photos to document it all :D Give...
