Grand Center Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Girne Belediyesi

I've came here on May 2013 for a business trip and i stumbled upon this lovely hotel just by the roadside. I didn't have any reservations and bookings earlier because i was forced to check out from another hotel nearby due to their own receptionist mistake. ||||The rooms were all very clean and comfortable! You will get 2 bottles of mineral water upon check-in in your fridge. Bath tub and ceiling shower are available for my room. The staffs are uber friendly and because the owners are always there to try to solve your problem and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The owner is even trying to chat with me in English even though it is hard for him. Super friendly guy.||||The breakfast is another awesome point to stay here. You will get to choose from a variety of different breakfast ranging from Turkish-style or English-style breakfast, and customisation is allowed! Unlimited supply of cold lemonade or local 'chay' tea is available as well. The breakfast will be served in their rooftop cafe with ample view of the city and also sea view. The breeze will make your breakfast very pleasing.||||Every room comes with free internet wifi. And they happily changed another room for me when one of the bulb got burnt in my room. This is the best place you can find and stay if you ever come to Kyrenia. Walking distance to the sea and the Castle. I can't understand the rave reviews here for anything. This hotel is just about ok for a very short stay, but problematic otherwise.|Firstly, it is on a very noisy street with poor soundproofing; the window didn't even seem to close properly.|Secondly, the entire time the bathroom smelled of raw sewage and clogged drains; the plumbing, as usual in Turkey, was dismal, with a toilet that barely flushed and a shower that was more like a standpipe, a cracked trickling one at that.|The majority of the staff are sullen and unwelcoming (not the night staff).|The wifi in the rooms is less than useless.|The famed 'breakfast' is the usual boring and repetitive turkish salad bar of olives and cucumbers-how exciting! They don't even have any real coffee, just Nescafé. Unbelievable really.|The rooms are also laid out weirdly, I.e.
