Montego - Beach Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Paralimni

Bitterly disappointed by our evening at Montego. The food was actually really tasty, what was beyond shocking was the disgusting way in which we were treated. Whilst eating our main course, the waiter arrived at our table and told us the next guests had arrived and we should move, we had not even finished our meal, been offered desert or had a coffee. We told the waiter to let us at least eat the food off our plates and we would move. I will add there was at least 10 empty tables these guests could have been seated. The fact that they think is this an acceptable way to treat guests is truly unbelievable. I could understand if we had eaten and were just sitting talking for hours not spending money but we ordered the most expensive items on the menu and were literally half way through a meal. We had to complain after a couple of drinks that the premium alcohol had been switched for cheap rubbish (charged at the same price) and only after we complained did we get the premium alcohol back again. The atmosphere was terrible which may have been due to the high humidity, people sitting soaked in their own sweat,there was one fan in the whole restaurant, which the DJ had the pleasure of benefiting from. Honestly such a shame they have zero clue on service and basic manners as the chef was great. We recently chose Montego Beach Bar & Restaurant to celebrate my mum’s hen party, and it was the perfect choice for a relaxed yet lively evening. The setting was exactly what we were looking for—tranquil with a fun vibe. The decor struck a perfect balance between a laid-back beachy feel and an elegant, dressy atmosphere.

The scenery was breathtaking, with stunning ocean views that added to the serene ambiance. The restaurant’s beachy decor, complete with soft lighting and cozy seating, made it the perfect spot to celebrate.

The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish was a delight, showcasing fresh ingredients and expert preparation was a testimony to the chef’s skill. I can personally recommend the crab and lobster ravioli and the crunchy sushi they were delicious!!

The service was outstanding, with special mention to Nicki, George, and Mr. Montego himself. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor ensured that our glasses were always full and our plates were never empty. They truly made the night unforgettable.

Great food and beautiful view!

Had dinner at Montego in Protaras with a friend and we both loved it! The food was really good – I had the Cheddar Smash burger which was super tasty and full of flavor, and my friend had the mushroom risotto which was very good also, we both tried each others food and we loved both of the dishes.

The view from the restaurant is beautiful, especially in the late afternoon and evening – you get this amazing view over the sea with the sunset colors. It’s such a relaxing and chill spot. An extra thing is that the restaurants also have sun beds in the bay infront of the restaurant which are free, so you can enjoy being by the sea with a cocktail or choose to sit by the seaview in the restaurant.

The staff were extremely friendly and chatty, which made the whole experience even nicer. You really feel welcome there.

It’s super easy to get to as well – just walk along the beachwalk in Protaras past the Protaras Pier, and about 5 minutes later you’ll find Montego.

Definitely recommend stopping by for a relaxed lunch (they open at 11) or a nice dinner with a view. Such a...
