Although I appreciated the work they put in redecorating the place at an idyllic location in Pernera, the management seems to be REALLY lacking!! Especially the RESERVATIONS!! We made a booking - face to face (we were already there for the day) for two days later - it was my husband’s birthday and wanted to spend the day with our family at a specific spot (a more private area of sun beds), so we reserved 5 sun beds and a table for lunch. The alternative area was not acceptable as it is packed of sun beds. They told us we had to go there EARLY in the morning, mind you, it was a FRIDAY, NOT A SATURDAY OR A SUNDAY. So, we got up EARLY, and when we arrived there at 9:30, they didn’t even have our RESERVATION!! The CYPRIOT girl with the nose ring who took our reservation couldn’t give us a reasonable explanation, she talked to us as if we were idiots, repeating ludicrous reasonings about WHY SHE COULN’T accommodate us and kept saying that the place was set up from the previous night and she couldn’t move ANYONE, ANYWHERE!! I had mentioned to her that it was my husband’s birthday and that I would appreciate her effort to resolve the matter since it was ACTUALLY HER who took the reservation and when we arrived, THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE SITTING IN THAT MORE PRIVATE AREA. Seriously, it was a TRAGIC! She kept saying that she was trying, kept calling clients (as if) asked us to wait for hours for something that never materialized. In the meantime, others kept coming and taking over the sun beds we were waiting for… She also kept saying that we obviously didn’t understand how the whole thing (meaning the RESERVATIONS) worked, as if it was NUCLEAR SCIENCE and we had to study it at the UNI…😂 This is how a long history of generous patronage comes to an end and having read other reviews too, it seems that we will not be the only ones!! It’s really a SHAME for such a lovely spot, an admittedly expensive revamp and delicious food to be RUINED by clearly CLUELESS, UNFIT and...

Restaurant Review: A Disappointing Experience Despite a Promising Facade

Despite the allure of its sleek website and prime location, this restaurant falls drastically short in execution and service, leaving much to be desired.

Upon arrival, the restaurant, though nearly empty, exhibited signs of amateurism that belied its upscale appearance. The initial drinks order, comprising six simple beverages, took an inordinate amount of time to be served. Shockingly, one drink was forgotten entirely, and the beer that did arrive was disappointingly warm.

The dining experience deteriorated further with the service of the food. Dishes arrived sporadically, with lengthy intervals between each. The crayfish salad, marred by mushy, wilted leaves and what tasted like canned crayfish, was bland and unappetizing. The seabass fillets, accompanied by undressed, undercooked spinach, were similarly tasteless and unappealing.

Seeking resolution, we requested to speak with the manager. However, the encounter was unproductive. The manager, seemingly untrained in hospitality, was defensive and unapologetic, erroneously attributing the staggered service to our failure to specify which dishes were starters, mains, or shared. This interaction underscored a troubling lack of customer focus and an unwillingness to rectify the situation.

The staff appeared more preoccupied with maintaining a fashionable demeanor than attending to their few patrons, further diminishing the dining experience.

In summary, the restaurant’s only redeeming feature is its view, which unfortunately does not compensate for the subpar service and lackluster food. Until significant improvements are made, this establishment is not recommended for those seeking a satisfying...

Bad experience, they lost our reservation after we arrived at the door reservation personnel was rude and was caught lying at our expense. Story below. Incompetent and lying personnel. 100% would not recommend.

We arrived shortly before 13:00; we were told to get our reservation until 14:00 and at the door the guy responsible for the reservations told us that he couldn't find our reservation and that after we made the reservation we should have received a call for confirmation, which we did not receive. We tried to explain to him that we did not receive any phone call for confirmation but he insisted and he was insinuating that we were called like they "always" do and that it was our fault we didn't pick up, even though we went through our call log on our phone and showed him that we had no call other than the one we made for the reservation. After a lot of arguing, lying and bad attitude from the guy at the reservation we left. Around 14:00 we received a call from Serena to confirm our arrival from Ms. E. This proves that they did not call us in advance, like the guy at the door was insisting and proves that it was 100% their fault.

We called back and asked for an apology and to talk with the guy at the door and we are still expecting a call 7 hours later like they told us they would do. This is a causal disappointment. A disappointment because this is what i would characterize their booking process and causal because it seems to be a norm at Serena. Guy at the door rude and lying, people responsible for the reservations incompetent. If anyone from Serena is reading this you might want to have a meeting and figure out your...

They were rude and tried to overcharge us. Toilets were some of the dirtiest I have seen in my life. Couches and seats were wet and dirty. The view is nice, but that's about it. I don't usually write negative reviews, but I feel it's my duty because I am from the area and I feel ashamed for them. To be more specific about the main points, we asked about an allergy with regards to the ingredients of a cocktail (my girlfriend is coeliac - can't eat gluten) and the response of the waiter was an ironic: "Seriously? How should I know?". They were eventually convinced to go check, but generally they had no idea what they were doing. Their lack of knowledge and attitude can put some clients in danger. The other important point thing is that they tried to overcharge us. When I paid I wasn't given a receipt, and the amount was 2€ higher than what I had calculated. I mildly protested and was eventually shown the receipt, after a short trip to the till, which showed different values than the menu. I was told "oh we thought your cocktails were alcoholic" - had they been, the amount would had been 5-8€ higher. So that's not a valid excuse because the numbers still don't add up. Additionally the receipt clearly shows they are Non-alcoholic! So the waiters knew exactly what we had ordered!! They then told us a different excuse, "oh the menu hasn't changed still? Can we see it?". They asked US to show THEM their menu!! After some more protesting I was handed 2€ and no apology. It's not the amount, but the way in which they carry themselves. Not very honourable. I am urging everyone, please avoid this place...

Very poorly managed. Staff have no idea what they are doing.on top of that, they are very rude. Ordered ouzo and a bottle of water, 20 minutes later the waiter came with no water and 2 ice cubes for a whole bottle of ouzo.glasses were filthy. We then ordered tratziki, it came with 83 minutes delay. I put a timer on. We repeatedly asked for it .You ask the staff "can I order?", and the response always is "you have to find a waiter" basically saying "not my job to serve you" . Utterly rediculous. This "platter" was 7 euros.. You have to laugh at the priveleged behaviour of these people. Stop giving money to these failed business men. When I asked to speak to the manager to no surprise of mine, they responded that they don't have a manager. After we pointed out how abysmal the service was, this ginger female Greek waitress very rudly said "what's your problem?". My problem dear is that people like you who have no idea how to work or behave for that matter, have a job when other people who are very good at their job have forced to close down.
