Velissima Lounge Bar & Club — Restaurant in Paralimni

Before someone calls me a stupid tourist My family are from Cyprus and go back many many generations. I always champion Cyprus and I am very passionate and proud of my roots I have been coming to Cyprus every year for the last 25 years and bring lots of family and friends with me We don’t give our money to tour operators and all inclusive hotels but rent expensive villas and spend our money in the local pernera restaurants and shops to help keep them open. We appreciate how hard it is for them and have seen very friendly and hard working restaurants like Novelo and the Happy restaurant behind the Windmill bar close because they couldn’t make enough money to keep going We choose Pernera and not Ayia Napa or Protaras because we want somewhere quiet so we can sleep at night This club which plays loud music until 6am is it can be argued in the wrong location right next to the Kama hotel and surrounded by family orientated villas Our holiday this year has been spoilt by this club and we have decided to go somewhere else next year for the first time in 25 years and we will tell our friends of how it now is here and they will...

Been coming to quiet and family orientated Pernera for years. Cannot believe that someone has thought putting an all night bar here is the right thing to do. The music is so loud and lasts through to 6 am. Not an ideal situation for families on holiday with small children. No consideration or thought for families or holiday makers wanting a peaceful time. Would be better suited...
