Chalkies Bar — Restaurant in Peyia

My visit to Chalkies Bar was honestly a huge disappointment. The food selection was extremely limited – barely anything appealing on the menu. After waiting over 30 minutes, the food finally arrived, but it was bland, poorly presented, and not enjoyable at all.

The portion sizes were ridiculously small for the price – it felt more like a sample than a proper meal. The service was slow and unorganized, handled entirely by elderly staff who, while polite, seemed overwhelmed and inattentive.

To top it off, the iced coffee was a complete letdown. It tasted mostly like milk, yet somehow managed to be incredibly bitter even after adding sugar. Definitely not what you’d expect from a simple drink.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this...

My husband and I had our mini moon in Coral Bay and stayed at the Cali Resort and Spa and wanted to go somewhere with a lively atmosphere. Chalkies did not disappoint. We took a walk up the strip and saw that they had Karaoke on and took a seat. The bar staff were attentive even when the venue was full. We didn’t have an empty glass the whole time we were there. Everyone had a great time and the staff got involved with all the fun too. We will be returning when we visit next year with our friends. Thank you for a couple of really great nights. Owners and staff are the loveliest people you will ever meet. We came for breakfast everyday just because of how nice it was !! 🤩🤩 Donna was extremely nice and let all of us put our suitcases in the back on our last day life saver !! Kareoke night is where you need to be at xx
