It gets worse. 4 days after this event, someone claiming to be the Manager (although he refused to give his name) called me (he must have got my number when i called to make the table reservation). After making veiled threats about my review (see below) - making sinister comments about there being security cameras in the restaurant and implying other nasty stuff - he then claimed my debit card payment was cancelled. I told him this was not true (i checked my account and the payment had definitely been made). I cannot imagine what he attempted to achieve by this, perhaps to persuade me to pay again. I looked into the reasons why a debit card payment would be refunded to the cardholder. It seems that this happens in the case of a duplicate transaction. Could it be that his rude member of staff tried to sting me with a double payment from my account which was then reversed by the bank? If the Manager had seen this refunded payment, but not checked whether the payment had already gone through, it might explain his actions. In the process he also shot him and his colleague in the foot. All these shady shenanigans just go to show that this really is a dodgy establishment and one to be avoided.

1 star because minus stars is not possible. Enter this establishment at your peril. The restaurant was empty when we arrived at 8pm, that should have been a warning sign. The staff did not speak Czech, insisted on speaking English, and were arrogant, becoming rude when it was pointed out that what we were served was not what we ordered. Nor was the food much good, mostly greasy and tasteless. From that point on the attitude of the staff sent our enjoyment of the evening on a downward path. The mutterings, and back chat in Russian was more for the benefit of other Russian speaking customers (as we did not understand, although the tone was clear) which made the atmosphere seem more hostile. At the end of the night, after paying, the receipt was thrown in my general direction, and we left thankful that the evening didn't turn uglier than it already had. Definitely one to avoid and a mystery how they scored a relatively high...

First of all, check the reviews people and don't be like me. From the start, my family and I knew something's wrong with this place. When we came in, we asked the staff if we can have dinner, the waiter's answer was: What do you want to order? (we were new to this town so we really didn't know what was on the menu). After we said that first of all we're going to check the MENU he showed us a free spot where we sat down. He brought us the MENU. All of us can say that he smelled badly, very musty and he seemed like he had a drink.. The food was okay, a bit expensive, but it wasn't a total disaster. We ordered a T-Bone steak. When we asked how much it weights he told us that it's a 1/2 kilo of a meat. So we decided that we would split it in half. In any good restaurant, the staff should ask how do we like our meat done (rare/medium-rare/well-done). When the steak was ready it clearly wasn't the right weight as he told us. The price was still good even thought it was a smaller portion (600 CZK) but definitely wasn't for 2 people. It was probably a missunderstanding with the waiter. About the food, what I didn't like was the thing that the steak wasn't cooked evenly, one side of the bone was well done, but the other side was medium-rare. (the meat itself was really good quality so it was a shame that the meat wasn't done properly. When he came with the food, he placed all of the dishes in the middle of the table, didn't serve anyone and left. When he came back for the empty dishes he made a tower of them on the table (that's not a proper way to clear the table). To conclude my review, I just want to say that the main problem is with the attitude. My family and I felt quite uncomfortable, unwelcome, and it was a shame since this was our last night in the town. Wish i would have read re views before eating there. Was not the only one with this problem. I order a steak with mushrooms sauce. However when it arrived to me there was no mushrooms sauce. I called waiter over to show him again in the menu what I ordered and asked for the mushrooms sauce, and he stood there with a blank look on his face 😐 as if he did bring it after 5 min of this look and showing him and asking for the mushrooms sauce in the menu with his own language i got no response but a look of nothing then he left. Plus the steak was so tuff you could not eat it. My wife Salomon was not good either. Was to be on a bed of spinach but was a mash potato with some spinach mixed in will Not go back...
