4.5 overall. We two walked in without reservations just after 5pm on a Thursday in August and were able to get a table for dinner; we saw that many of the tables were reserved.

FOOD: 4.5. The regular menu is in both Czech and English, but we chose off the menu of the day, which was in Czech only. Duck leg with dumplings and kraut: 4.5. Duck was excellent, kraut was mild but good, and the dumplings were ok. Slovakian dumplings with bacon and cabbage: 4.5. Grilled vegetables (off the regular menu): 4.0. Was nice to have vegetables to supplement the kraut and cabbage. WINE: 4.5. Generous pours. SERVICE: 4.5. Very efficient and fast. My wife was able to practice her "Thank you" in Czech and received a warm smile in return. I still have not mastered the phrase :-( AMBIANCE: 4.0. Nice local crowd with some tourists....

Nice restaurant with tasty food and great coffee. Very good location near the city sqare. Just the staff would need some improvement, they were nice, but not able to seat down the hosts or inform them that there is not place anymore. People were wandering from table to table to see there is reservation card already. Due to busy weekend there was always somebody around our table. Waitresses took chairs away from our table without asking.... Anyway I would come...

What should i say, amazing price-balanced food, very friendly service, you can pay by card. The only thing i would "negatively" rate is the only-garden seating option, i.e without option to sit in a space with AC. Still pleasant to sit in, they have very large sunshades, that compensates some.

But, as said, the food was so good, that we came back several times during our vacation, despite having to drive 30min there...
