Indická a Nepálská restaurace Om — Restaurant in okres Znojmo

The Restaurant is nice. The Tikka biriyani which i had was not up to the standards. Too much artificial colours on in the rice and the rice was not aromatic as well. Too much curry into the rice and the rice was too sweet. But my friend ordered Naan and paneer and naan was very nice. Paneer was only three four pieces by the way. We ordered tea and the tea came but it was not hot. Once i asked for hot tea waitress brought hot tea. I love indian food and i love the flavours. I know how biriyani should taste. I think the restaurant an is amazing and you can definitely do better and better. This comment take as a description to develop your restaurant. I wish you good...

Pravdepodobne jedina indicka restauracia v Znojme a preto by som ocakaval aj vysoku kvalitu jedla. Na zaklade porovnavania s inymi indickymi restauraciami (Praha, Bratislava), tuto mozem hodnotit ako slabsi priemer. Pivo - capuju sice plzen, ale urcite najhorsia plzen aku som kedykolvek pil a ak ma niekto na starosti servis spojeny s pivom plzen, mal by tento podnik navstivit, pena klesla asi za 10 sekund a chut ako keby mali narazeny sud mesiac. Brr, otras. Vratim sa vsak k Obsluhe: Prisli sme a slnko intenzivne svietilo a chceli sme sa s manzelkou najest. Vosli sme do podniku a cudny indicky ? pach, zle odvetravanie podniku. Tak museli sme ist von, tam terasa, ale slnecniky stiahnute, vsak hostia podla mladeho casnika asi miluju sa opekaniu pri jedle... Vytiahnut slnecnik asi nie je problem, ked som uz bol tkamer hotovy, tak lenivy casnik dojde, ze moze slnecnik odletiet (bolo bezvetrie). Hovorim mu, ze si ma viac vsimat hosti a vyjst im v ustrety...Samozrejme aj vedla si hned hostia roztiahli slnecnik, ale kedze setria na kvalite, tak taky pohyblivy, malo stabilny slnecnik to veruze bol. OK, ideme na jedlo, tak sme si objednali. Casnicka, mlada nepozna jedla, ktore robia a musi sa ist zeptat...asi len brigadnicka, ale aspon usmiata a usluzna k hostovi (narozdiel od arogantneho casnika). Jedlo, priemerne, urcite aj naan velmi biedny, ziadna chut ako sme zvyknuti napr, Marsala Darbar v BA. Znova sa nam potvrdilo, ze dat si nalepku indicka kuchyna nesie aj velky otaznik na kvalitu, chapem, ze priemerny cech nepozna chut indickeho jedla a v takom mestecku ako Znojmo ani ine sa ocakavat neda. Myslel som si, ze ak ked bol vo vnutri podniku ind, je to nejaka zaruka kvality, asi uz bol len manazer, lebo stale telefonoval a nemal cas sa venovat kvalite jedla. Po nasej skusenosti, tento podnik ludom, co poznaju kvalitnu indicku kuchynu by som urcite neodporucal a uz urcite nie tam...

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is well-located in the heart of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made for a pleasant experience. The food was fresh, though the flavors were a bit milder than I expected. I ordered a dish marked as spicy, but it turned out to be quite mild. Perhaps the recipes are adjusted to suit local tastes, which is understandable, though I personally would have preferred a bit more spice and seasoning. On the positive side, the rice was very well-prepared...
