Coffee Perk — Restaurant in Prague

The service is just terrible. I've been to this cafe several times and it's always been good. The last time the girl in front of me was talking very passively aggressively to an obviously new guy who was training to be a barista. It was very embarrassing and I felt sorry for him. It seems to me that it is simply unacceptable to discuss someone's mistakes so loudly in front of clients. Today I said for the first time that coffee tastes very strange and sour to me, this has never happened before. As a result, the girl began to raise her tone at me, began waving her arms very aggressively and saying that everything was fine, “everyone drinks, and everything is OK.” Then she tried milk from a cup and suggested that I also try from the same cup! Like excuse me? So coffee and food are usually good here, but the service from this girl is really terrible. And, as I see, this is not the first complaint about her in...

A coffee place located within 10 minutes walking distance from metro station Budejovicka. The place seems to target on people from close by offices and opening hours are accostumed to it (week days only and closing by 5PM). We have visited the place twice and 1st time I was charmed, however when we revisited today I could not help but be dissapointed. The service was very slow for such a small cafe and not overly friendly. The selection of home made cakes was poor (one kind of cake and one cupcake). On positive note, the place has nice interier, the cheesecake I had was pleasing as well as coffee we ordered.

Kavárna ve vzdálenosti 10 minut od metra Budějovická. Díky své lokaci se domnívám, že kavárna se zaměřuje na své zákazníky z nedalekých kancelářích a tomu je přizpůsobena otevírací doba (pouze všední dny do 17 hod). Kavárničku jsme navštívili dvakrát. Na poprvé mne toto místo nadchlo, avšak dnešní návštěva byla zklamáním. Obsluha byla přes tak malé místo velice pomalá a bez většího zájmu. Selekce domácích dortíků malá (krom pistáciovo-karamelového dortu a cheescaku měli pouze jeden druh cupcaků). Abych však hodnocení zakončila pozitivně, velice oceňuji příjemným a moderní interiér, dobrou kávu a rovněž cheesecake, který jsem si objednala...

I liked their spatious modern and cosy style. The stuff was super nice and prices are average. They offer breakfast, small bites and candy. You can sit both inside and outside. I give one less star due to my coffee. According to the photos, I expected a great coffee. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my ecpectations.
